Today we took Maggie to see a cardiologist to look at her heart murmur. She had some stickers stuck to her body a couple of times so that various tests could be done. Maggie did not like the application nor the removal of the stickers. But she did great overall. She had as much patience as a 15 month baby can have in a doctor's office.

Well, it turns out her heart murmur is just an innocent murmur that is caused by her heart having Left Ventricular Accessory Chords. In adults these are called False Tendons. Not everyone has these chords. For many folks who do, there is an innocent murmur that is caused by these chords vibrating as blood flows through the heart. There is nothing bad about having these chords or the associated murmur. The cardiologist said that Maggie's chords were, "cute."
